The Meridian theme
Meridian groups cPanel into six goal-based hubs with a command palette and an AI assistant. What changes from Jupiter, and how to switch between them.
Meridian is cPanel's goal-based interface. Where Jupiter arranges tools by category, Meridian groups them into six hubs built around what you are trying to do, and adds a dashboard, a command palette and an AI Assistant.
Applies to all WebGee cPanel accounts — shared, reseller and Premium hosting. Meridian is optional: Jupiter remains fully supported, and you can move between them from inside cPanel.
The six hubs

The tools themselves are the same tools. What changes is the route to them: in Jupiter you find Zone Editor by knowing it sits under Domains, in Meridian you open the Websites hub and work from the domain you care about.
The dashboard
The Meridian dashboard opens on three things:
- Action required — items that need your attention now, such as a domain without a valid certificate.
- Suggested next actions — based on what your account has and has not been set up with. On a new account this is where Build your website appears.
- An account overview — a summary of your account and its resource usage.
The command palette
The fastest route to any tool, and the one worth learning first. Open it by:
- selecting the search box at the top of the page,
- pressing
Ctrl+K(Windows and Linux) orCmd+K(macOS), or - typing
/anywhere in the interface.
Then type the name of what you want — cron, redis, ssl — and select it.
This works regardless of which hub you are in, so you never need to know which
hub owns a tool.
Switch between Meridian and Jupiter
- In cPanel, select your account menu in the top-right corner.
- Choose the other theme.
Your settings, files, email and databases are unaffected — the theme changes only the interface in front of them.
If your account was created on Meridian by your provider, you cannot switch it to Jupiter yourself. Accounts created on Jupiter can move between the two freely. On WebGee, open a ticket if you need an account moved.
What Meridian adds beyond navigation
Three features exist only in Meridian:
- The AI Assistant — a chat panel that answers questions about your own account, explains features, walks you through tasks, and with approval performs some low-risk changes.
- An MCP connection — lets an AI coding tool such as Claude Code deploy to and maintain your account.
- Deploying a Node.js app from the Websites hub — from a Git repository, a ZIP file or an AI agent, without the Node.js Selector.
When to stay on Jupiter
Meridian covers the tasks most accounts perform. A few less-common tools are still reached most directly through Jupiter, and anything you have documented, bookmarked or written a runbook against is where you left it. Nothing is lost by staying — and nothing is lost by trying Meridian, since the switch back takes two clicks.
