# WHMCS licensing on WebGee plans
Source: https://docs.webgee.com/en/reseller/whmcs-licensing-price-adjustment-effective-january-1-2026

WHMCS licences are **included with** WebGee hosting packages — cPanel Reseller,
WordPress Reseller and VPS plans — rather than sold as a standalone service.

## What that means [#what-that-means]

* **You cannot buy a WHMCS licence from WebGee on its own.** It comes with a
  qualifying plan.
* **The licence is tied to your plan.** Cancelling the plan ends the licence.
* **Pricing follows WHMCS's own.** When WHMCS adjusts its rates, the cost within
the plan changes accordingly. The most recent adjustment took effect on
  **1 January 2026**.

## If your licence stops working [#if-your-licence-stops-working]

Almost always because the installation moved — the licence is bound to a domain,
IP and directory. See
[Fix the WHMCS "Licence Invalid" error](/en/reseller/whmcs-license-invalid-error).

## Buying a licence elsewhere [#buying-a-licence-elsewhere]

You can, and it will work on WebGee hosting. Worth knowing before you do:

* **The bundled licence does not become cheaper.** It is part of the plan.
* **Reissues go through whoever supplied it**, not through WebGee.

Most resellers are better served by the bundled licence, since reissues after a
migration are handled by the same people hosting the installation.
