# Fix the "please wait while your request is being verified" loop
Source: https://docs.webgee.com/en/reseller/whmcs-connecting-to-servers-please-wait-while-your-request-is-being-verified

WHMCS gets stuck on **"Please wait while your request is being verified"** and
never continues. Applies to reseller accounts with a site behind Cloudflare.

This is not a WHMCS fault, and nothing on the server is broken. The cause is a
**Cloudflare page rule**.

## What is happening [#what-is-happening]

Imunify360 protects your site by serving a captcha page to unrecognised
visitors. When you pass it, Imunify360 sets a cookie recording that, and the
next request goes through.

A Cloudflare page rule combining **Cache Everything** with an **Edge Cache TTL**
greater than zero strips cookies from the origin's response. Imunify360's cookie
never reaches the browser, so every request looks like a first visit, and the
captcha loops forever. WHMCS sits waiting on a verification that can never
complete.

This is documented Cloudflare behaviour, not a bug: `Cache Everything` normally
respects origin cache headers, but combining it with `Edge Cache TTL` makes
Cloudflare ignore them and remove cookies.

## Fix it [#fix-it]

1. In Cloudflare, go to **Rules → Page Rules**.
2. Find the rule that applies to the affected hostname.
3. Either remove **Edge Cache TTL**, keeping **Cache Everything**, or remove the
 rule entirely.
4. Save, then purge the Cloudflare cache.

<Callout type="warn">
 Do not set **Edge Cache TTL** alongside **Cache Everything** on any hostname
 that needs cookies — that includes WHMCS, cPanel, webmail, and any logged-in
 area of your site. The combination silently breaks sessions, not just this
 captcha.
</Callout>

## Check it worked [#check-it-worked]

Reload the page that was stuck. It should complete verification and continue.

If it still loops, purge the Cloudflare cache again and retry in a private
window — your browser may have cached the captcha page itself.
