# How much bandwidth is included
Source: https://docs.webgee.com/en/reseller/how-much-bandwidth-is-included-with-my-hosting-account

**Bandwidth is not limited** on WebGee shared and reseller hosting. Applies to
shared and reseller plans.

Usage is monitored to detect abuse, but accounts are not suspended or throttled
for high bandwidth.

## What is limited instead [#what-is-limited-instead]

Accounts are constrained by **LVE resource limits** — CPU, memory and entry
processes:

| Resource | Effect when reached |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| CPU | The site slows down |
| Memory | 503 error, or the process is killed |
| Entry processes | 503 error |

That is the meaningful ceiling, and it is what to watch rather than transfer.

## Why this distinction matters [#why-this-distinction-matters]

Traffic and resource usage are not the same thing.

A site serving large files to many visitors can move a great deal of data while
using almost no CPU — static files are cheap. A site with an uncached WordPress
homepage can hit its limits under modest traffic, because every visitor triggers
PHP and database work.

So "how much traffic can I take?" is really "how efficiently does my site
serve it?" Caching changes that answer more than any plan does — see
[LiteSpeed Cache](/en/hosting/wordpress/how-do-i-install-and-enable-litespeed-cache).

## Check your usage [#check-your-usage]

**cPanel → Resource Usage** shows which limits you approach and when. The
bandwidth figure on the cPanel home screen is informational.

## VPS and cloud servers [#vps-and-cloud-servers]

These **do** have a traffic allowance, shown on the server's overview in the
Cloud Console — see [Manage your server](/en/servers/server-management).
