# Sell hosting in multiple locations
Source: https://docs.webgee.com/en/reseller/how-do-i-re-sell-hosting-in-multiple-countries-locations

Offer hosting in more than one country or region. Applies to reseller accounts.

## How it works [#how-it-works]

A reseller plan is located in **one region**, chosen when you order it. Every
account you create inside it lives there.

To sell in several regions, hold **a reseller plan in each**. When creating an
account, provision it in whichever plan suits that client — normally the one
closest to them or to their visitors.

## Additional plans are discounted [#additional-plans-are-discounted]

Secondary reseller plans carry a flat-rate discount. The discount applies to
additional plans, not to your first — see
[Reseller discounts](/en/reseller/reseller-discounts-how-much-discount-do-i-get-as-a-reseller-to-sell-your-service)
for current rates.

## Why location matters [#why-location-matters]

**Latency.** Physical distance costs milliseconds on every request, and it
compounds across the many requests a page makes.

**Data residency.** Some clients are required to keep data in a particular
jurisdiction. Being able to say where it is hosted wins that business.

**Regional expectations.** Search engines and customers alike prefer a site that
responds quickly locally.

## Managing several plans [#managing-several-plans]

Each plan is a separate WHM with its own accounts, packages and nameservers.
Worth knowing:

* **Add each as a separate server in WHMCS**, then choose at provisioning time —
see [Add a server to WHMCS](/en/reseller/how-to-add-a-server-or-reseller-account-into-your-whmcs).
* **Custom nameservers can span them.** Point `ns1` and `ns2` at whichever plan
is primary; clients need not know how many you hold — see
  [Create custom nameservers](/en/domains-dns/how-do-i-create-custom-nameservers).
* **Packages must be recreated per plan.** They do not sync between WHMs.
* **Moving an account between plans is a migration**, not a setting — see
[Why accounts cannot be migrated between reseller plans](/en/reseller/why-can-i-not-migrate-cpanel-accounts-between-reseller-plans-using-the-migration).
