# How many sites can one account host
Source: https://docs.webgee.com/en/getting-started/how-many-sites-can-i-add-to-an-individual-cpanel-account

There is **no fixed limit** on how many websites you can host in one cPanel
account. Applies to shared, reseller and Premium hosting.

What limits you is resources, not a count.

## What actually constrains you [#what-actually-constrains-you]

Every account runs inside a container with fixed CPU, memory and process limits —
see [CloudLinux and LVE limits explained](/en/performance/understanding-cloudlinux-and-lve-limits-enhancing-server-stability-and-performan).
All sites in the account share that one allocation.

So the practical answer depends entirely on what the sites do:

| Kind of site | Rough demand |
| ------------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| Static or brochure sites | Very low — dozens are fine |
| WordPress with caching | Low per site |
| WordPress without caching | Moderate, and it compounds |
| WooCommerce or membership sites | High. Two may be plenty |

<Callout type="warn">
  All sites share **one** resource pool, so one busy or badly behaved site takes
  the whole account down with it. Ten sites in one account means one plugin loop
  produces ten offline sites, not one.
</Callout>

## When to split across accounts [#when-to-split-across-accounts]

Resellers can spread domains over several cPanel accounts, and it is usually
worth doing when:

* One site is much busier than the others — isolate it so its spikes cannot
  affect the rest.
* Sites belong to **different clients**. Separate accounts mean separate
  credentials, separate backups, and no shared blast radius.
* You want to move one site later. Migrating one account is straightforward;
  extracting one site from an account holding twelve is not.

## If you need more resources [#if-you-need-more-resources]

* **Resource Boost+** doubles CPU and memory for an individual account, for a
  monthly fee. Useful for one heavy site within a reseller plan.
* **Premium Hosting** allocates substantially more per account.
* **A VPS** gives you dedicated resources and full control —
  [Set up your cloud server](/en/servers/cloud-server-quick-start).

## Before adding more sites [#before-adding-more-sites]

Enable caching on what you already host. It is the difference between a handful
of sites and dozens on the same allocation —
[LiteSpeed Cache](/en/hosting/wordpress/how-do-i-install-and-enable-litespeed-cache).
