# Set up email on your device
Source: https://docs.webgee.com/en/email/getting-started

Pick the guide for the app you use. Each one walks through adding a WebGee
mailbox with the correct servers, ports and encryption already filled in.
Applies to all WebGee mailboxes.

Before you start you need two things: your **full email address**, and your
**mailbox password**. The mailbox password is set when the mailbox is created
and is not your WebGee account password — see
[Change a mailbox password or quota](/en/email/how-to-change-your-email-account-password-or-mailbox-quota-in-cpanel).

## Any other app [#any-other-app]

If your app is not listed, add the account manually using
[the server settings](/en/email/manual-configuration). Every mail app that
supports IMAP or POP3 can use them.

## Webmail [#webmail]

To read mail without setting anything up, sign in to webmail at
`https://webmail.yourdomain.com`, replacing `yourdomain.com` with your own
domain.

<Callout type="info">
  Choose **IMAP** rather than POP3 unless you have a specific reason not to.
  IMAP keeps mail on the server, so every device shows the same mailbox and
  nothing is lost if a device fails. POP3 downloads messages and, by default,
  deletes them from the server.
</Callout>
